In order to comply with certain state accreditation rules, referral services must establish that members are qualified to represent clients in specific practice areas. In order to be qualified, you must have 15 continuing legal education credits relevant to representing crime victims within the past 3 years OR you may list up to 3 cases in which you have represented crime victims within past 5 years.
Representing crime victims in civil cases may be used in combination with continuing education credits to fulfil the requirements. Five continuing education credits will be equivalent to the representation of 1 victim in a civil case. Please provide the case name, docket/case numbers, date of completion, and any other relevant information. If you have attended the National Conference or have been a Civil Justice Seminar Panelist within the past 3 years, this may fulfill your qualifications. Please list both the years and locations of the conferences and/or seminars.
